During the summer, Mickey Rourke spoke to Alan Carr on the host's talk show about wanting to headline a biopic of Welsh rugby star, Gareth Thomas. Now it seems, his wish has come true. Rourke will play Gareth Thomas, an openly gay welsh athlete in the upcoming bio. The odd thing here, is that Rourke is a 58 year old man with a botched face lift. Supremely talented as he may be, can Rourke really play a 35 year old athlete? Stranger casting has happened, I guess.
