Universal Studios have confirmed to TheWrap today, that comedy maestro, Judd Apatow's next flick will be an as of yet untitled spin-off to his own film, Knocked Up. It's also been confirmed that the headliners of the film will be Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, reprising their roles are the bickering married couple, Pete and Debbie. Nothing else is known about the flick right now and it's still up in the air as to whether the stars of the previous film, Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl will return for bit parts. I find it unlikely that Apatow is going to cast Heigl in the film, or in future as shortly after Knocked Up was released, Heigl told Vanity Fair "the film paints women as shrews, as humorless and uptight, and it paints men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys". Right...did we watch the same movie?
