AICN got word from a reader that this week, that Keanu Reeves (star of the Matrix Trilogy) announced in an acting seminar that he's been in contact with the Wachowski's over Christmas about the possibility of returning to The Matrix for two further sequels. The directing duo are said to be meeting with James Cameron about the advantages and disadvantages of filming in 3D, too. He also mentions that this one will, "truly revolutionize the action genre". If this is true, I'm sold. The Matrix was, no, it is one of the best action films of the last 20 years and the thought of two new and improved sequels is music to my ears. So long as it washes away the bad taste set in by Reloaded and Revolutions...
