Robert Pattinson deserves more credit. Not only does he skillfully dodge the marauding, batshit insane Twi-hards on a daily basis, but the young actor is steadily creating quite the resume for himself. Having just completed Water For Elephants, an adaptation of a novel by Elizabeth Gruen, Deadline is reporting that Pattinson is locked to headline in David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis. Cronenberg also penned the film which will see the actor play a financial whizkid, who one day decides to bet his entire fortune against all odds, this play landing him in trouble with assassins. Starring alongside Pattinson will be Paul Giamatti and Marion Cotillard. Cronenberg is a master, and the kid can certainly act, so Cosmopolis should be an interesting project.
