Not a huge revelation, but interesting none the less. In a recent interview with Vulture, J.J. Abrams noted that he has been approached by Paramount about directing the sequel to the hit sci-fi reboot in 3D. He was also quick to solidify the fact that he has not yet signed on to direct the project, and won't do so until he sees the finished script. This is bittersweet news for me personally, as I'm sincerely hoping Abrams returns for another voyage with the Enterprise, but at the same time I think Trek would just plain ole' suck in 3D.*
