Jim Broadbent takes on husband Thatcher and Meryl Streep takes on Maggie herself in The Iron Lady, a story about Maggie Thatcher before she trundled the UK off to shoot some guns in the Falklands.
The first photo of Streep as Thatcher is below, and looks like, well….a bit more comedic than biopic. I’ve included a selection of photos for you to draw your own conclusions. The hair I suppose is right, but that’s the easy part, the face doesn’t seem too bad, but it’s obviously not great either. This could well be won or lost on the accent!!!!!
