Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Dawn Of The Dead) sat down for an interesting interview over at LA Times, where he drops some info on the latest incarnation of the DC wonder-boy, Superman. "Respect the canon but don't be a slave to the movies", he said as he explained how his Man Of Steel will be different. He then elaborates, "...we're making a movie that finally goes with the approach that there's been no other Superman movies". It seems Snyder is keen to drop all associations with the Richard Donner/Bryan Singer films of the past, so does that mean we won't be hearing John Williams epic theme song? Probably. Which is a shame, as for me it's always been the music for Superman. Before Snyder signs off, he reassures us, "It is epic. But you just start at page 1, shot 1, and the next thing you know, you're in it. And then you can't go back. It's the journey of a thousand steps, as they say".
