The internet is rife with rumours today that Arnold Schwarzenegger's triumphant return to acting will come in the form of The Last Stand. The film, to be directed by Korean master Kim Ji-Woon (A Bittersweet Life, I Saw The Devil), tells the story of an aging sheriff tasked with stopping a drug cartel from running through his town to the border for safety. Irish star Liam Neeson was previously attached to the Korean director's English language debut, but stepped away from the project last month. Do I think this is good casting? I think if his character is a down-on-his-luck, out to prove himself one last time type, then yes, definitely. I think more than anything Schwarzenegger needs to pick a film that's appropriate for his return. Terminator 5 is not appropriate. The Last Stand may very well be what he needs to prove he's still got it.

*By the way, The Governator looks like absolute shit. Why on earth he's getting involved in it is beyond me.
