This week, 20th Century Fox closed a deal with Visual EFX maestro Tim Miller, to direct the long gestured X-Men Origins: Deadpool. Miller, who has worked on Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, X-Men 2 and Night At The Museum, is making his directorial debut with the comic-book film which is still expected to star Ryan Reynolds. Personally, I won't believe it until I see it. Reynolds is now spear-heading DC's hot blockbuster Green Lantern and if that does as well as expected, then I imagine Warner Bros. will snap him up for a sequel immediately (which means he might not have time for Deadpool). But said deal is a step forward, so whose to know? Maybe we will be seeing Wade Wilson on the big screen in 2012?
