Michael Fassbender has come a long way from being the man who swam across the sea in the Guinness ad. After roles in films like 300, he has come into his own in films like Hunger and Inglourious Basterds. In a few weeks we'll see him in his first blockbuster starring role as Magneto in X-Men First Class. Now, Variety report he's in talks to star in Trance, the new Danny Boyle movie.We won't see it until 2013 but Boyle plans to shoot it before the Olympic opening ceremony, and it's looking likely that Fassbender will join him. He's a great choice - he's certainly shown a lot of range and after X-Men, is bound to become a massive star. We'll see him in Prometheus, the new Ridley Scott Alien-esque movie too, in 2012. Onwards and upwards!
