Two very popular british talents are coming together to star in a film currently being shopped at Cannes about two people who nick other identities in an attempt to change their lives for the better. THR report that Colin Firth, fresh from his Oscar win and Emily Blunt, fresh from, eh, Gulliver's Travels, are both signed on in a film that sounds a bit like that tv show The Riches with Eddie Izzard - and that was amazing. Both of them will play people who break into houses to steal identities, and it'll be the first film by Dante Ariola, who has up to now only done adverts. Sounds like a good setup for these two - they're both very funny when given the right material, especially Blunt. Definitely looks like it'll be one to watch.......
You can see Firth before that in art-heist movie Gambit, and Blunt will be appearing in sci-fi movie Looper prior too.
