Well it looks like the possessed/haunted horror genre shows no signs of dying (ho HO) with the news that Maggic Gyllenhall has signed on to star in Voice From The Stone, a thriller based on an Italian novel.The basic story (via showblitz) is of a nurse, Gyllenhall, who is sent to care for a boy tormented by 'dark forces' within his old house in the country in Italy. Of course, things go astray and she has to fight off the forces both from the boy and herself. Sounds like a decent premise if you ask me, especially with Gyllenhall attached. No word yet on a director, but it could be good, especially with the Italian setting - perhaps they'll take some influence from Italian horror master Dario Argento?
