Megan Ellison, daughter of Oracle billionaire Larry, is doing what many movie fans can only dream of doing - spending her considerable amounts of cash on movies she wants made. Her company, Annapurna, recently made news as they rescued Paul Thomas Anderson's none-more controversial Scientology movie, which shoots soon. She's also footing the bill for the new Katherine Bigelow movie, Kill Bin Laden. Now though, Deadline are reporting that they could be moving in on a much more commercial prospect; Terminator, with ol' Arnie.Of course this is far from concrete news, but should they take it on, it would easily be their biggest investment yet and possibly their biggest return. Despite the woeful threequel and the reboot, Terminator still has some serious cache and done properly, would be worth watching. Especially if there was more creative free reign involved. Rumours abound of Justin Lin (Fast 5) directing still, so expect to hear some more news on this soon enough. Now that he's done governating, Arnie will want to get working!
