Just as I was saying they don't make enough good car movies, news of a second one comes flying in after word broke about Michael Mann's Ford movie. Man of the Moment Jeremy Renner is busying himself on both The Avengers and Mission: Impossible, but that doesn't mean he has no time to prepare another starring role for himself in the form of true-story Slingshot.Showblitz are reporting that Renner is set to produce and star in the film, which is about banker Bill Caswell who competed in the Mexico Rally Championships in a BMW he bought for 500 dollars. How he'll fit it into his schedule is a mystery, considering that he's committed to Marvel movies for the next four hundred years (more or less) and is in line for the new Bourne movie too. Also, word is that if Mission Impossible 4 is a hit, he'll be taking over from Tom Cruise! All he needs is a rom-com with Katherine Heigl and he'll be in every movie on Earth.
