Jim Carrey has been out on the promo trail for his new movie Mr Poppers Penguins, which looks like a complete snooze, but it has lead to an interesting nugget or two regarding some of his better known movies and potential sequels.He tells Comingsoon.net that there is talk of returning to some old characters that people loved, and expands by mentioning Bruce Almighty and Dumb & Dumber - both of which have had Carrey-less sequels that were awful. I'm sure a lot of people would be excited by this, given the popularity of those movies, but personally I think he should revisit THE MASK. Wishful thinking on my part I suppose. I thought he was going to do more Lemony Snicket films too? Ah well. Who knows what will come from his chatter here, but I wouldn't be surprised to see at least one of the mooted sequels appear at some stage.
