Moneyball is a movie that has been spoken about for absolutely ages but only now is it actually a reality. It was sensationally halted days before production when the head of Sony, Amy Pascal, hated Steven Soderbergs version. He left, but Brad Pitt stayed and Bennett Miller took over.
It’s a true story about a baseball team that, with no money, changed the way teams were selected and is very much Hollywood Gold – inspirational, and true. What makes it promising is Pitt, who has had a great record lately, Phillip Semour Hoffman and the Aaron Sorkin script. Very nice! Check out the trailer below – the movie opens in November.
