Like alot of people I’ve tried to avoid alot of Super 8, so I can savour the whole thing on the big screen. So, here is the dilemma. To watch..or not to watch the following 6 minute clip. While it doesn’t give away anything really, it sets up the characters and you get a new look at part of the train crash. I succumbed , for journalistic purposes of course, and even if you don’t watch the clip, this is all kinds of fuckin awesome! The soundtrack in particular is very subtle and I almost confused it for the oncoming train in the distance. Maybe it is the oncoming train. Either way, Abram’s use of the soundtrack here is brilliant. It’s only a small thing, but it impressed the shit out of me. Excited isn’t the word. Anyway, it’s down to you fair reader. Once you click play, there is no going back!!
