The Guard starring Brendan Gleeson has cruised past the 2 million euro mark at the Irish box office knocking the likes of X-Men and Transformers off their perch. This is great news as the movie is now rolling into the States and the UK with huge momentum. The lovely folks in the UK will have to wait until August 19th and the nice folks in America will have to only wait a few days as Sgt. Gerry Boyle rolls into town on July 29th.
