And so the comeback of Sharon Vonne Stone begins! Well, we’ll see about that but she’s definitely returning to the screen in a new adaptation of the novel Gods Behaving Badly according to /film.
The novel, released a few years ago, tells of Greek Gods living in modern day New York and dealing with everyday life and the threat of losing their powers. Stone will play Aphrodite alongside Christopher Walken, John Turturro, Edie Falco and Oliver Platt, whilst Alicia Silverstone will be a mortal girl who meets the gods with her boyfriend. Sounds a bit familiar to Neil Gaiman’s American Gods (which is heading to tv) but even so, could be very interesting with the talent involved! And it is high time Sharon Stone resumed some status in Hollywood, eh? EH?
