With Stallone’s Big Explosive Sequel shooting pretty soon, it’s no surprise to hear that they’ve signed on a castmember who isn’t a Living Action Legend (or similar). Fresh off working on The Hunger Games, Liam Hemsworth – little brother of Thor – has won a role (via slashfilm).
He won’t be lonely, as so far the confirmed cast is; Stallone, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. That’s not all, as those little-known actors John Travolta and Nicolas Cage are both rumoured too. Simon West will direct, and I’m optimistic. The first movie was okay, but it looks like they’re really trying to live up to people’s expectations on this one. And Hemsworth is an added bonus for the ‘youths’ to enjoy. Only one problem though….
WHERE IS STEPHEN LANG? What’s the holdup, Stallone? Is he TOO MUCH of a badass?!
