The trailer for Joseph Gordon Levitt's Premium Rush has just hit the net over at Yahoo! Movies. The film centers on Wilee (Levitt) a bike messenger in New York City who receives an envelope to deliver in 90 minutes. The problem is, he encounters a dangerous dirty cop (Michael Shannon) who is desperate for the envelope's mysterious content. Wilee refuses to give it up, so a cat and mouse chase begins throughout the city.
Directed by David Koepp (writer of Spider-Man, Jurassic Park and War Of The Worlds) and co-starring Jamie Chung and Dania Ramirez, Premium Rush hits Irish cinemas February 3rd.
As for my opinion on the trailer, I think it looks good. Certainly more original than a lot of thrillers these days. It also somewhat reminds me of the Manhattan-based drug-thriller, Limitless.
