There’s no rest for Brendan Gleeson after the roaring success of The Guard this summer. He’s getting to work with At Swim Two Birds, his first foray into directing which will hopefully see the light of day next year, and now comes the news that he’s joined the stellar cast of Robert Redford’s latest, The Company You Keep.
The movie, about an ex-government agent on the run after 30 years in hiding for a robbery, features Shia LaBouef, Anna Kendrick, Nick Nolte, Brit Marling, Stanley Tucci and with Reynolds in the lead role. Gleeson will play a retired chief of police who went after Reynolds character years ago.
Sounds good, doesn’t it? The movie is currently shooting, so expect to see it sometime next year.
