He may be in his eighties, but Clint Eastwood shows no sign of slowing down just yet. And why would he? His latest film, J. Edgar, is already getting Oscar Buzz and he’s got a remake of A Star Is Born with Beyonce (slightly delayed into 2012 due to her pregnancy) after that.
He hasn’t acted in a movie since 2008, preferring to take the directors chair but never ruling out starring in another movie, and now Slashfilm report that he’s in talks to star in Trouble with the Curve, about a veteran baseball scout, who is going blind, who goes out on the road to find a new player, taking his daughter with him.
No word on when the movie is due to go into production, but as slashfilm also point out, the delay in A Star Is Born has left a big hole in his schedule so we could see a return to the screen by Clint sooner rather than later.
