The Fast & Furious franchise star, Paul Walker, has been cast in Eric Heisserer's upcoming thriller, Hours. Set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the film centers on a man (Walker) trapped in an abandoned hospital with his newborn baby and their struggle to stay alive. Eric Heisserer is mostly known for his screenplay work (A Nightmare On Elm Street '10 & The Thing '11) but will make his directorial debut with Hours. Peter Safran (Buried) will produce. Principal photography begins in March 2012.
