With all the buzz over Contagion it’s easy to forget that Steven Soderbergh has another movie out soon, action-thriller Haywire. Whilst the story (ex-navy woman betrayed by everyone, fights back) is quite simple and nothing remarkable, the cast and action of the movie look set to make it one to watch.
I’ve seen some of the film already, and can confirm that the action is very, very good. The jury is out on whether or not lead Gina Carono can act but there’s no doubt she knows how to fight. Check out the trailer below – the movie is out early next year. Try to ignore the awful voiceover…
