John Cusack has been in his fair share of duds over the years (2012, Americas Sweethearts both coming to mind instantly) but he’s also done enough great work to garner a lot of respect as an actor, and he makes some very cool choices. Will The Raven turn out to be one of them?
It’s not based on the poem, rather it depicts Edgar Allen Poe as a detective type on the hunt for a killer who is taking inspiration from his works – not a bad premise, and one that could be pretty entertaining, I say. Check out the trailer below, and the movie is out March 9th 2012.
