As Clint Eastwood's daughter. Despite the general consensus that 2008's Gran Torino was to be Clint Eastwood's last role in front of the camera, there have been loud rumblings this week that the legendary actor will star in baseball drama, Trouble With The Curve. Eastwood was due to start filming A Star is Born with Beyonce, but her pregnancy has caused production to be delayed for a number of months. Never one to hang around, it seems that Eastwood has agreed to star in Trouble With The Curve, to be directed by his long-term production partner and assistant director Robert Lorenz.
Eastwood and Lorenz's own company, Malpaso, is set to handle the production based on a script by Randy Brown. Trouble With The Curve tells the story of an aging baseball scout who is slowly losing his vision. He and his daughter decide to travel to Atlanta to scout a star player in the making. The plot sounds right up Eastwood's street and considering the caliber of people involved, Bullock could have landed a great role to go along with her more recent dramatic turns in The Blind Side and Gravity.
