The dawn may be breaking and the end in sight for the Twilight saga, but box office figures show little evidence that anything is slowing down at the box office. After being released for such a short time, it is estimated to have already made $138 million world wide pushing it ahead of the likes of Transformers and Harry Potter.
It is clear the Twihard fans have been clearly anticipating this latest installment of Stephanie Meyers series. The fans braved the midnight lines to catch the first glimpses of the film and got what they bargained for with the long anticipated wedding scene.
This had made this installment of the franchise the third highest opening night of any movie. Unable to surpass Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two or the previous New Moon release, however it did come close to seeing similar numbers. Overall though critically it has been given mixed reviews, the fans are still flocking to the seats to see this installment.
