The internet is all a'buzz over the recent, brilliant trailer for Snow White & The Huntsman, starring Kristen Stewart as the legendary character. Now it looks like she might be taking on another franchise with the news that she's been offered the role of Kei in Akira.
It had been rumoured that Keira Knightley was up for the role, but Collider report that an offer has been extended to Stewart to take the female lead in the film. Kei is a 'young medium' who also eventually becomes a love interest. Nobody is actually confirmed for the movie yet apart from Garret Hedlund as Kaneda, but with shooting beginning in Spring, expect that to change soon.
