Paranormal Activity and Transformers sequels ? That’s the question being asked in Hollywood, news is that Paramount Pictures is working hard behind the scenes for ideas for sequels for both Paranormal Activity and Transformers according to Viacom CEO Philipe Dauman, both are due their fourth outings respectively. Also in the pipeline could be plans for a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles picture. The update on Paranormal Activity 4 was a little unexpected because Paramount Vice Chairman had previously said there would be no sequel despite that the third film had the highest opening ever for a horror movie.
Transformers 4 is only at the idea stage so no further news is expected for now although be prepared for speculation regarding Shia LaBeouf and director Michael Bay will be participating in the project. Another sequel seems inevitable since the last movie has grossed over a Billion Dollars so far. Hasbro is reported to be delighted at the prospect of another instalment; Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner is reported as saying “It would be silly for us not to talk about having another Transformers movie.”
