You know how it is with Terence Malick movies, you wait about 10 years between each one, then three come along at once. Following the release of this years The Tree Of Life, Malick is set to direct two new movies in 2012.
The first, Lawless, is set to star Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling and Cate Blanchett, while Bale and Blanchett will also appear in Knight Of Cups. Malick is currently in pre-production on both projects, but both are being kept under wraps. While he may not be the most prolific of directors, Malick is one of the most highly regarded filmmakers of all time, with classics such as Badlands, Days Of Heaven and The Thin Red Line frequently making top 100 lists.
