Its Cork Film Festival time, and yours truly is starring (I use the term loosely) in The Peoples Food, which screens on November 11th. As for the rest of the fringe, here it is…
This year for the week of the Corona Cork Film Festival The Pavilion is doing its own Film Festival Fringe. We have come up with a unique and broad programme of events that showcase some of Cork’s top young gun directors as well as features and visionaries from out foreign!
Cork’s Grandmaster Cash premieres his new comedy gem Steamin’ and Dreamin’ 2 - Ca$h Back. Colour Me Obsessed a film about the Replacements makes it’s Irish premiere. Feel Good Lost present a night of moving images with music accompaniment from Solar Bears, Sert One and Reid. Egomotion presents Fright Night! an evening of 6 delectable horror short films made by Cork directors. Sharp Shooters we have with the help of the film festival put together a 2 hour programme of some shorts that strayed off of the main festival to make their way to us. Galway’s finest bootlegger extraordinaire Phil Retrospecter brings his eclectic and cinematic style to musical and visual mashups.

FEELGOODLOST present a night of moving images with music by Solar bears, Sert One & Reid.
Brendan Canty is one of the most talked about young Irish directors working under the name Feel Good Lost. He has directed music videos for acts such as Jape , Slow Magic , Moths, Sun Glitters , Boy 8-Bit , Wintercoats , Daithà O'Dronaà and Mark Geary. For the Fringe Feel Good Lost will be magically merging new images & mashing his vast visual library along with the Live sounds from Solar Bears(planet mu),Sert one(N.I) and Corks own Reid.

GRANDMASTER CASH presents STEAMIN' AND DREAMIN 'PART2 - CA$H BACK
Following the success of 2009's "Steamin' + Dreamin' The Grandmaster Cash Story", we meet again with Cork's own hip hop superstars, Grandmaster Cash and Dr. Feekinstein. In a new series of interviews, the self proclaimed "Kings of Cork" show the effects new found fame has had upon them as well as divulging their plans for the future.
While promoting his debut novel, "Grandmaster Cash and the Lazerwolvez", Cash is approached by Cian 'Hollywood' Norris, a Cork native working as an agent in London. Could this be Cash and Feek's chance to finally achieve international stardom? Is London ready for the 'Daycent Duo'? Or are their hopes and dreams no more than just that?
