Martin Scorsese sat down to talk Hugo (December 2nd) and its use of 3D with The Hollywood Reporter. Some other bloke called James Cameron (who knows something about 3D) also sat in on the interview.
Scorsese seems really excited about the medium (even suggesting one should imagine Citizen Kane in 3D) and given his track record, this is an added boost for the format. 3D needs every ounce of help it can get at the moment, and while the conversion process seems to be getting better, the actual cinemas themselves are now proving detrimental to the process, with shoddy projection. Either way, this is a nice little clip to get everyone excited for Hugo, where by all accounts, its rather good.
