Speaking to Australian talkshow, 60 Minutes, Pitt has revealed that his is thinking about life after movies. One of the most recognisable faces in Hollywood, Pitt has switched his focus in the last few years, spending more time behind the camera and producing than starring. However he is still one of the most bankable actors around and has starred in over 65 movies.
He told 60 Minutes that he was likely to stop in “three years”. "I've really enjoyed the producerial side and getting stories to the plate that may have had a harder time otherwise." Earlier in the year, Pitt told the The Sunday Times that "We all have a shelf life, and mine is coming - although there are a couple of things I'd still like to do. I am looking forward to playing a foul-mouthed grumpy old dude one day, that's for sure."
He added: "I am more passionate now that I am a father. It has focused my mind on the kind of work I want to do. I'm bothered less about whether the films I shoot make money. I just want them to have longevity."
