Steven Spielberg is close to signing on the dotted line to direct Gods And Kings. The Moses movie is “a movie like a Braveheart-ish version of the Moses story. Considering the world isn’t awash with religious movies and given the success of The Passion Of The Christ, it’s probably a no brainer for a movie like this to get greenlit. Makes you wonder though, why we don’t have more movies with religious characters?Or will this open a new book in genres.
Spielberg is currently working on Robopocalypse after just finishing directing Lincoln, and if the pen signs the dotted line, Warner Bros want to start production sometime in March or April 2013.
