The Rock A.K.A Dwayne Johnson is currently locked in talks to star as Hercules in MGM studios upcoming project which is set to be directed by Brett Ratner. reports also confirm that Ryan Condol is adapting a graphic novel by Steve Moore which is entitled “Hercules: The Thracian War," which saw it debut in May 2008. Johnson is currently appearing in cinema screens in "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” and is later set to appear in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation”.
MGM studio’s trio of Roger Birnbaum, Gary Barber and Jonathan Glickman will produce, alongside Peter Berg and his Film 44 partner Sarah Aubrey. In adddition Barry Levine of Radical Pictures, and Jesse Berger will executive produce the project.
