James Woods is et to be on the big screen again, joining the cast of the aptly named Jamesy Boy alongside Ving Rhames and Mary –Louise Parker. Woods is quite busy at the moment as he has also signed on for The Stone Pony and may even be directing a project called An American Girl. Jamesy Boy is centred around James Burns a member of a street gang that finds himself locked up. Once inside he forms an unlikely relationship with a fellow inmate and reformed murderer who helps him see life from a fresh perspective. It has not been revealed yet which roles Woods and Ving Rhames are playing but the central character Burns is being played by relative newcomer Spencer LoFranco. The movie which is being directed by Trevor White gets ready for shooting in March, Incidentally, Trevor White also co-wrote the screenplay with Lane Shadgett and oversees the film’s transition to the big screen.
