Ok, I know, pass the bucket right now. I’m nearly getting sick in my own mouth after writing that. But look, for the couples out there who are having a nice night in, which will hopefully end up with you getting your pants ripped off, I have a movie recommendation.
Yes you can go down the road of a bunch of Tom Hanks movies about getting mail and suffering insomnia in Seattle. Or if you fancy crying your eyes out uncontrollably and losing all dignity then the Notebook could be your cup of tea. And god forbid; if incest is your thing, you could get hold of The Empire Strikes Back and watch a brother and sister share a passionate embrace, watched quite voyeuristically by 2 robots, a smuggler and a tall bloke in a shaggy dog outfit.
Failing all of those though, and in all seriousness here’s my recommendation. It’s one of my favourite movies of the last few years and its pretty flawless. I’m not going into the plot. I’m just telling you to watch it. It’s available to buy/rent and all the download services have it as well. So, trust me on this. Seriously. This movie will not let you down. And if you were ever looking for a movie to possibly reignite the spark, or even start a conversation about it. This is it! Go watch Crazy, Stupid, Love!!
