Fresh off picking up a BAFTA for outstanding debut for Tyrannosaur, his first feature as director, Paddy Considine has confirmed that he will be adapting Jon Hutton's book, The Years Of The Locusts, for his next stint as director.
Set in world of professional body building, the book is based on the true story of amateur boxing promoter Rick "Elvis" Parker and his loyal, but naive, fighter Tim Anderson. It is a story of intrigue, paranoia and murder, as Rick tries to set himself up as the next Don King.
Considine is also writing a ghost story called The Leaning, and will next be seen, acting wise, in Now Is Good and Girl On A Bicycle.
