A new trailer has been released for the much anticipated (by somebody somewhere) sequel to the Ancient Greek action epic Clash of the Titans, the aptly named Wrath of the Titans. Expect revenge, I suspect.
This instalment finds Perseus, played by Sam Worthington sporting the worst haircut since the advent of the opposable thumb, 10 years after Clash called back into action by his father, Zeus. Presumably he saves the world? Check out the trailer:
To be fair it does look like a bit of fun with all the usual grizzly creatures back and seemingly multiplied, in size and volume.
Battle: Los Angeles director Jonathan Liebesman is helming the project which will also be projected in 3D.
Apologies for breaking that news to you all at once, I’m sure he’ll do a great job and it’ll look amazing and all the rest of it. It’s just Battle: Los Angeles and the 3D of the last one weren’t what you could describe as good. Vic, in his review took much much umbrage with the 3D describing it as follows:
“It doesn’t work in any capacity.”
Lets hope the 3D works, ya know, in some capacity, if it is to avoid the Wrath of Vic… Now that’s a movie I’d like to see.
Wrath of the Titans hits these shores on the 30th of March. Be sure to check back here for our review.
