Unless you’ve been living under the house in Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, you’ll be aware of Arnold Schwarzenegger and his return to the acting foray. Schwarzenegger was / is known for many roles in the 80’s and 90’s, but none more so than the Terminator. And while he was busy doing political things in California, a digital version of the Austrian, even appeared in Terminator: Salvation.
Now, James Cameron has been talking to MTV news about Terminator 5 saying "I was talking to him back in fall about a new Terminator film and quietly advising on that, I suppose you could say. I was trying to be as encouraging as possible. Frankly, at that time, I thought it needed to be more about him. I told him he should not do it until it's focused on his character or he shouldn't do it. I think there are some great stories that can be told about that character that haven't even been thought of yet".
Take that for what it is. One does dream though, about another Terminator movie with Cameron at the helm and Schwarzenegger in the lead. That said, Cameron seems to have plenty to keep him busy with over the next few years, in particular the Avatar sequels.
