Director Robert Zemeckis hasn't made a live action film since Castaway, focusing his time on working with motion capture technology on The Polar Express, Beowulf, and A Christmas Carol. Now he's taking a break from 3D and computer generated animation, and returning to more traditional film making with new drama Flight. Denzel Washington stars a pilot hailed as a hero after he successfully lands a crashing plane, but his new found status is brought into question after an investigation into the incident brings up some troublesome details about his personal life.
Joining Washington are John Goodman, Melissa Leo, Bruce Greenwood, and Don Cheadle. That's quite an impressive cast. Judging from the trailer below, Zemeckis has quite a movie on his hands, and I can't wait to see this on the big screen.
