Reports in Hollywood are doing the rounds that the upcoming sequel for Thor will be going ahead without Josh Dallas who played Fandral in the first instalment. Dallas is committed on US Fantasy drama Once Upon A Time. Marvel is anxious to get a replacement nailed down and his place is set to go to Zachary Levi if current talks go well. The star is in early development talks regarding the project and it appears for now at least that things are going well.
If Levi does indeed get the role it would see quite a dramatic turnaround as he was up for the very same part in the first outing. Returning for the sequel amongst others will be Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins. In addition Bond Villain Mads Mikkelsen has also been locked into talks to play a villain in the sequel.
As ever here on the movie bit we’ll keep you posted on events; with a good reaction and healthy box office figures for the first movie a sequel will be highly anticipated..
