The acting recluse that is Bill Murray is in talks to appear in St Vincent De Van Nuys, a coming of age comedy written and directed by Ted Melfi. The story follows a 12 year old boy, depressed after the divorce of his parents. Murray’s character is the next door neighbour an ageing, boozing, gambling and general badly behaved sort of a chap. The duo form an unlikely friendship and learn a few lessons in life along the way. The possible capture of Murray in casting would be largely welcomed and seeing as he hasn’t appeared in much recently. It is reported that Jack Nicholson was considered the man most likely to be chosen for the role but now it seems Murray is the leading candidate.
The star will next be seen as President Roosevelt in Hyde Park On Hudson and has finished work on weird comedy A Glimpse Inside The Mind Of Charles Swan III.
