Not long after the announcement of Marvel Studio's moving forward with Guardians Of The Galaxy, a space faring team of super heroes, concept art of what the team will look like on the big screen has hit, and yes, they are keeping the giant tree and gun toting raccoon. Delighted!
Besides the aforementioned Groot and Rocket Raccoon, the team will consist of half human/ half alien peace keeper Star Lord, female assassin Gamora, and genetically enhanced killing machine Drax. Both Drax and Gamora have connections to Thanos, the villain seen in the mid credit sequence of The Avengers, in the comics, so there is chance that he will make an appearance in the movie.
A release date for Guardians Of The Galaxy is given as the 1st of August 2014.
