Warner Bros. are to make a substantial donation to victims of the Aurora shootings. The studio has been in touch with Colorado governor John Hickenlooper’s office and will donate to a fund set up on givingfirst.org which is a program of Colorado’s Community First Foundation.
The fund distributes monies across a number of charities that will support victims of the July 20 killing spree that left at least 12 dead and dozens injured.
It’s not known (nor important in my opinion) how much the studio will donate, but it is said to be substantial. For anybody else reading this, you can donate as well on the Giving First website. Simply click here to donate.
It’s not the first time a studio has donated to a tragedy, Universal pictures donated over $1.15 million toward a memorial to the passengers and crew who perished aboard United Flight 93 on September 11.
