Filming is currently taking place on location in Japan for James Mangold's The Wolverine, and behind the scenes photos have given us our first look at the feral mutant's, again played by Hugh Jackman, two love interests for the movie. First up, but not really showing much, is a shot of Rila Fukusihima as blood thirsty assassin Yukio, who develops a crush on our man Logan after seeing how savage he can be. A bit messed up really.
Secondly, we have Tao Okamoto as Mariko Yashida, Wolverine's one true love, and the person he believes will put him on the path of honor and redemption. But true love never runs smoothly, and the fact that she is the half sister of The Silver Samurai (Will Yun Lee), the movies big bad, only complicates matters.
Synopsis: Based on the celebrated comic book arc, “The Wolverine” finds Logan (Hugh Jackman), the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
