Well here it is, the first look at the final part of The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy or aka Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy. This all began in 2004 with Shaun of the Dead and followed on in 2007 with Hot Fuzz, so this has been a long time coming for the fans of the series(myself included). ‘The World’s End.’ Directed by Wright, who co-wrote the script with Pegg, this film goes as follows, 20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King (Pegg), a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries. In these photos we not only see Pegg, Frost and Wright but the young actors playing their younger versions. I'm not sure who these young actors are but it is good to see fresh new talent in what I'm sure will be one of the biggest comediesof next year. 'The Worlds End' is currently set for August 14th, 2013 release.
