Writer/director Don Coscarelli's Bubba Ho-Tep is one of my favorite films of all time, so you can imagine how excited I am for his latest project John Dies At The End, based on the book by david Wong. The movie concerns a new drug called Soy Sauce, that opens door ways in between different dimensions allowing users to drift through. When college dropouts John (Rob Mayes) and Dave (Chase Williamson) discover the drug is actually the first step in an otherworldly invasion, they become humanity's last hope of survival. The film also stars Clancy Brown, Paul Giamatti, and Doug Jones.
From the synopsis and trailer below, you can expect the film to be all sorts of crazy. Probably won't be for everybody, but for those that like their horror a little strange and with a large dose of comedy, this should be one to watch out for.
