Regardless of mixed opinion on Skyfall, it is making quite the truck load of cash at the box offices over on this side of the pond. And now, John Logan, Skyfall co-writer, has pitched Bond 24 and 25 to 007 producers, Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson. And get this, if the rumour mill is to be believed it could well be a two part tale. So cue cliff hanger ending in Bond 24 no doubt. And with Daniel Craig signed on for two more Bond movies anyway, you can be damn sure he’ll be hanging off that cliff.
Personally I don’t like the way Skyfall has gone and that’s firmly taking a step backward in tone, maybe 24 and 25 will be different, but I wouldn’t be putting any money on that. It’ll be interesting to see if Sam Mendes will return or maybe another director will step up to the plate. Anyone for Mr. Winding Refn?
